Pentagon: 30 people have heart disease after receiving Pfizer and Moderna vaccine

SANAA, Jun. 12 (YPA) – The US Department of Defense on Friday revealed that 30 service members have Heart Inflammation “myocarditis” after receiving either the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine

Myocarditis is usually caused by a viral infection, and severe infection can cause heart failure, arrhythmias or even death.

“We have identified approximately 30 cases of myocarditis out of the more than 3.6 million doses we have given,”  said Pentagon Press Secretary John F. Kirby.

“We take each one seriously and work closely with the CDC and other federal partners, as well as academic medical professionals, to ensure that we constantly evaluate all cases.”
