1 killed, 7 wounded in explosion of boob-trapped motorcycle in Abyan

ABYAN, Jun. 11 (YPA) – A soldier was killed and seven others injured on Friday when a  booby-trapped motorcycle went off, targeting the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) forces in Yemen’s southern province of Abyan, local sources said

According to the Local sources, a booby-trapped motorcycle exploded and collided with a military truck carrying soldiers belonging to the security belt forces in Zinjibar district, the centre of Abyan province, which is under the control of the STC militia, leaving at least one killed and seven others wounded.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.

Abyan province and other southern provinces , which are under control of the UAE-backed militias have been witnessing a security deterioration due to spread of terrorist elements.
