Humanitarian Affairs Council, WFP discuss cooperation aspects

SANAA, Jun. 08 (YPA) – The Supreme Council for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation and the World Food Program (WFP) discussed in Sanaa aspects of cooperation between them in the humanitarian field.

This came during the meeting of the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdulmohsen Tawoos, with WFP’s representative for Middle East and North Africa Corinne Fleischer, and the program representative in Yemen, Laurent Bukera.

The meeting touched on the mechanisms of providing aid in accordance with humanitarian work standards that meet the needs of the beneficiaries in light of the continuation of the aggression and siege on Yemen.
