SANAA, Jun.07 (YPA) – Yemeni Petroleum company (YPC)’s spokesman Essam al-Mutawakel said that the fines for delaying of the oil ships that has been released by Saudi-led coalition forces exceeded 4 million dollars, equivalent to 5 Yemeni billion riyals.
The move came during a protest held in front of the UN office in Sanaa on Monday.
The coalition had released two oil ships, while a ship will arrive at the port of Hodeidah on Monday, al-Mutawakel explained
He reiterated call on the international community and the United Nations not to link the humanitarian file to political and military files.
Al-Mutawakel stressed that the entry of oil derivatives and the opening of Sana’a airport are guaranteed rights to the Yemenis.
