Israeli occupation notifies Palestinians in Ramallah of demolishing their homes
RAMALLAH, Jun. 01 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces on Monday notified Palestinians of the demolition of their homes in the towns of Ni’lin and Deir Qadis, west of Ramallah, in the central occupied West Bank.
The “Palestine Today” news agency quoted Head of the Municipal Council, Ni’lin Emad Al-Khawaja, as saying: “The occupation forces stormed the towns of Ni’lin and Deir Qaddis and notified 10 homes of the demolition in the two towns.”
Al-Khawaja pointed out that the owners of the houses threatened with demolition carry Palestinian legal permits for construction.
He added, “The occupation invokes that the houses are close to the barbed wire that separates them from the settlements bordering the area.”
The people of Ni’lin fear the settlers’ ambitions in their lands, so they insist on the activities and confrontation with the occupation and its settlers.
