Transport Minister meets UNMHA’s Deputy Head

SANAA, May 31 (YPA) – Minister of Transport, Amer Al-Marani, met in Sanaa on Monday with Deputy Head of the United Nations Mission to support Hodeida Agreement (UNMHA), Daniela Kroslak.

The meeting reviewed the mission’s efforts in implementing the Stockholm Agreement and the facilities provided by the Ministry of Transport unilaterally for the mission’s work in Hodeida.

The meeting touched on the suffering of the Yemeni people as a result of detaining and preventing the entry of ships loading fuel, medicines, and food imposed by the Saudi-led coalition countries.

The Minister of Transport stressed the need to lift the siege and allow the entry of fuel ships that are detained by the coalition at sea, as they are among the essential needs for the life of the Yemeni people.

Al-Marani called on the United Nations to put pressure on the aggression coalition to quickly lift the unjust siege and allow the ships detained at sea to enter the port of Hodeida.

For her part, Kroslak affirmed the keenness of the mission and the United Nations to implement the Stockholm Agreement in all its main axes, including the rehabilitation of Hodeida port to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people and provide their necessary needs.
