Pro-STC leader killed in Lahj

LAHJ, May 30 (YPA) – A leader of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia was killed on Saturday by gunmen in Lahj province, south of Yemen, local sources said.

The sources affirmed that one of the gunmen from Al-Sabiha tribe in the “fourth brigade” of the STC shot and killed the deputy director of supply for the STC-affiliated security belt” militia, Fadhal Al- Yafei.

According to the sources, Yafei died while trying to take him to a hospital in the city.
