One killed, another injured in armed robbery in Abyan

ABYAN, May 28 (YPA) – A worker was killed and another injured in an armed robbery carried out by unknown gunmen at a money exchange shop in Abyan province, southern Yemen, local sources reported on Friday.

The sources explained that the gunmen were on a motorcycle and attacked the “Batis exchange shop in Khanfar district on Thursday evening, killing a worker at the shop and wounding another when they tried to confront them.

The gunmen were able to loot large sums of money from the money exchange shop, the sources added.
