SANAA, May 20 (YPA) – The World Health Organization (WHO) calls on Thursday for a humanitarian truce in Gaza Strip.
Ahmed Al-Mandhari, WHO Regional Director, stressed the importance to allow the entry of humanitarian aid in light of the severe shortage of the health system in the Strip.
“The closure of entry and exit points for patients, humanitarian health assistance and severe restrictions on the entry of medical supplies exacerbate this public health crisis,” he added.
The Gaza Strip has witnessed tremendous damage due to the Israeli entity airstrikes on residential areas and citizens’ houses in the Strip for the eleventh consecutive day.
