Two children drown in Abyan’s coast

ABYAN, May 15 (YPA) – At least two children drowned on Friday afternoon while swimming during the Eid holiday in the coasts of Abyan province , southern Yemen. This was reported by Yemen News Portal, based on local sources.

According to the local sources, the two children have been identified as Mohammed Jaafar Saeed and Abdul Qawi Saleh al-Sawmli. They drowned while swimming on the coast of Sheikh Abdullah, south of Zinzibar city.

The coast of Abyan is experiencing drowning incidents during the Eid seasons due to lack of safety and awareness.
