Zakat Authority inaugurates 2 projects for Zakat Al-Fitr, Eid clothing in Sanaa

SANAA, May 10 (YPA) – The Office of the General Authority for Zakat in the capital Sanaa inaugurated on Monday two projects for Zakat Al-Fitr and the Eid clothing for the poor and needy beneficiaries under the slogan “Enrich them on this day.”

The two projects target 73,920 beneficiaries of the poor and needy throughout the ten districts of the capital, at a total cost of 1,478,398,000 riyals.

At the inauguration, Chairman of the General Authority for Zakat, Shamsan Abu Nashtan, confirmed that these projects come within the projects of the Zakat Authority throughout the provinces of the Republic to alleviate the suffering of the poor and needy during the holy month of Ramadan.
