STC militias detain tens of trucks in Lahj

LAHJ, May 5 (YPA) – The southern transitional council (STC)’s militias cut off on Tuesday main roads of Lahj province, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources confirmed that elements of support brigade cut off the main street of Habeel Jabr area of Radfan district and prevented passing of trucks and locomotives.

According to the sources, cutting off the road by the southern transitional militias was due to non-payment of financial dues, suspended for months.

The sources declared that the southern militants allowed for small cars to pass after tribal mediation, pointing out that the militiamen prevented passing of the trucks and locomotives.
