Armed gang robs exchange company in Shabwa

SHABWA, April 29 (YPA) – Gunmen believed to be affiliated with Islah Party loyal to Saudi-led coalition stormed on Thursday an exchange company in Shabwa province, eastern Yemen.

Activists on social media circulated a video clip showing four gunmen in military uniform while carrying out an armed robbery at “Nujoom Al-Thuraiya Company for Money Exchange” in central of Ataq city, the capital of the province.

The video showed that the gunmen managed to seize sums of money after threatening the workers with weapons, and fled to an unknown destination.
