SOCOTRA, April 22 (YPA) – An Emirati ship arrived on Thursday and docked in port the Yemeni island of Socotra.
According to sources, the ship docked in the port of Archipelago, which is controlled by the “the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council militia.
The sources suggested that the ship’s cargo was carrying with military equipment and vehicles, especially as it arrived in conjunction with the arrival of a Saudi and foreign military delegation headed by the spokesman of the Saudi-led coalition, Turki Al-Maliki.
The sources indicated that those moves revealed the military tension being escalated between the UAE and Saudi Arabia due to the sharing of influence on Socotra island.
