Internet service fully stopped in Aden

ADEN, May 30 (YPA) – Internet service was completely cut off on Tuesday evening in the southern province of Aden, residents in Aden city reported.

The various internet services halted in different districts of the province since 5 pm on Tuesday, according to local sources.

An official at Aden’s Telecommunications Office said a cable was subjected to a deliberate sabotage in Khor Amira area (Ras Omran) of the province, which led to damage to another cable between Dhale and Qataba cities.

A technical team began to repair the cable, he added.
