Moscow adds 8 US officials to blacklist

SANAA, April 17 (YPA) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that his country added eight US administration officials to “black lists.”

Lavrov said, the Americans have added to the sanctions list eight representatives of Russian structures and representatives of the administration, including the presidential administration and the attorney general’s office. Today, we will also publish a list of eight officials representing the ruling powers of the Washington administration.

“The foreign ministry’s statement published on its website reads: “The names of eight current and former senior American officials and personalities involved in developing and implementing the anti-Russian approach will soon be published on the official portal of the Russian Foreign Ministry. It is a reciprocal response to sanctions against Russian individuals, who were “blacklisted” by the United States last month.

Lavrov also announced that Moscow would end the work of American institutions that interfere in Russian politics. In addition to stopping the practice of hiring Russian citizens and citizens of other countries to work in American diplomatic missions, and it has asked ten American diplomats to leave its territory.
