Russian FM prepares summit between Putin and Biden

SANAA, April 14 (YPA) – The official spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, announced on Wednesday that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is doing its part to work on preparing for a meeting between Putin and Biden.

The Russian spokeswoman said, during the “Solovyov on air” program, commenting on the preparation for a meeting between Putin and Biden: “This is the prerogative of the Presidency Administration, as you know, we certainly do our part in the work.”

It is noteworthy that Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed with his US counterpart Joe Biden, during a phone call between them, on Tuesday, a number of issues, including ensuring global security, and the current state of bilateral relations.

During the call, Biden proposed to Putin to hold a summit between them in the coming months in a third country, and he reaffirmed the importance of building a stable relationship with Russia.
