Dozens of coalition troops killed, injured in ambush in Marib

MARIB, April 08 (YPA) – More than 65 militants from the Saudi-led coalition forces were killed or wounded during an ambush carried out by Sanaa forces, west of Marib city, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources confirmed that Sanaa forces targeted military reinforcements of the coalition forces coming from Jawf desert, northeast of “Al-Tala’a Al-Hamraa”, west of the city of Marib.

The ambush also resulted in the destroying of eight military vehicles and seizing many others, the sources added.

The sources noted that ambulances were seen transporting the dead and wounded of the coalition recruits to the main hospital in Marib city.
