SANAA, April 08 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) warned on Thursday against a heat-wave striking a number of Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.
The center also alerted in its weather forecast sea goers and fishermen, especially captains of small ships, of sea turbulence south of the western coasts and west of the Gulf of Aden.
The weather in the mountain highlands would be clear and dry in general, and it is expected that pieces of low cumulus clouds might form on separate parts of the western and northwestern highlands.
It expected an clear atmosphere to partly cloudy in general in the coastal areas, relatively hot during the day, with very hot weather on the eastern coasts, while the winds sometimes activate on the southern parts of the western coasts and west of the Gulf of Aden, with maximum speed is reaching 24 knots.
The center added that the weather in Socotra Archipelago would be generally partly cloudy, and winds are light to moderate speed.
