SANAA, Aug. 09 (YPA) – Sanaa authorities on Sunday warned residents in Saudi-controlled districts of Dhalea Governorate against responding to recruitment calls, urging them not to serve as “fuel or human shields” in the conflict.
In a press statement, the Acting Governor of Dhalea, Abdul Latif Al-Shaghdari, stated that Sanaa’s conflict remains open with Saudi Arabia, describing it as a common enemy to all Yemenis.
He noted that ongoing developments are part of a “Saudi-American-Zionist plot” aimed at depleting the governorate’s young manpower following the recruitment of thousands of southern youths in border battles.
Al-Shaghdari emphasized that the primary adversary is the entity occupying land and plundering resources. He added that military operations conducted by Sanaa forces against mobilizations in controlled areas fall within direct deterrence, applying an equation of “siege-for-siege and escalation-for-escalation” to counter any aggressive movements.
