UAE sends weapons shipment to Mocha port in Taiz
TAIZ, April 05 (YPA) – A new Emirati arms shipment arrived Monday at Mocha port, in the west of Taiz province, local sources reported.
The sources said that 30 containers of weapons had arrived at the port of Mocha, and were transported secretly by locomotives to the port city of Aden, southern Yemen, after coordination between the so-called “Tariq Afash” forces and commanders of the so-called “Al-Amaliqa brigades” on the western coast.
The arrival of the weapons shipment coincided with military movements in the city of Mocha.
The UAE’s sending of weapons to the factions loyal to it came after the Islah Party recently created a military brigade in Radfan district of Lahj province, and recruited nearly three thousand personnel as part of the plan to encircle the city of Aden, according to observers.
