Parliament calls int’l community to end grievances of Yemeni people

SANAA, March 31 (YPA) – The Yemeni Parliament’s Presidium, in its meeting Wednesday chaired by the House Speaker Yahya Al-Ra’i, called on the United Nations and the international community to play their role in ending the grievances of the Yemeni people.

The meeting touched on the latest developments in the current situation in light of the aggravation of the suffering of the Yemeni people as a result of the aggression and siege, and the continuation of the Saudi-led coalition countries in the detention of ships loaded with fuel, food, and medicine.

The Parliament’s Presidium considered starving the Yemeni people a crime to be added to the coalition’s crimes.

The meeting also discussed the letter of the President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, addressed to the Speaker of Parliament on several important national issues, in addition to approving the resumption of the parliament’s sessions on Saturday, April 3.
