Gunmen hijack 3 buses carrying workers of factory in Lahj

LAHJ, March 30 (YPA) – Unidentified gunmen hijacked on Tuesday three buses to transport workers of the National Cement Factory in Lahj province, southern Yemen.

Local sources confirmed that the gunmen hijacked three buses after the factory workers boarded and took the buses to an unknown destination.

This comes after the factory was closed by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council’s militia, calling for the imposition of financial levies outside the framework of the law.
