Britain confirms keeping air defense systems in Saudi Arabia

SANAA, March 23 (YPA) – Britain’s Minister for the Armed Forces, James Heappey, said that his country would keep air defense systems in Saudi Arabia.

Heappey affirmed in a statement that the air defense systems would remained to help Saudi Arabia to foil the attacks of Yemen’s Ansar Allah Movement on the Kingdom.

Since February, the movement has escalated its offensive operations against vital and military targets in Saudi Arabia, with drones and ballistic missiles.
