Algerian president sacks prime minister, appoints new acting PM

ALGIERS, Aug. 29 (YPA) – Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune Thursday terminated the duties of Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui and appointed Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, Sifi Ghrieb, as his replacement.

In a statement, the Algerian Presidency announced that the President issued a presidential decree ending Larbaoui’s tenure and appointing Sifi Ghrieb as Acting Prime Minister.
