SANAA, March 15 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia has been hit by a new air attack, Saudi-led coalition said in a statement on Monday.
Turki al-Maliki, a spokesman for the coalition, was quoting as saying by Saudi media that the attack targeted the area of Khamis Mushit, south of the kingdom on the border with Yemen.
Al-Maliki did not specify the target, but noted that the attack was carried out by a drone aircraft.
Khamis Mushit, Saudi Arabia’s largest military base in the south of the kingdom known as King Khalid Base, where the coalition is based.
It has been a home to the coalition’s operations in the war on Yemen and has been targeted by Sanaa forces since the start of the war in March 2015.
