German plane arrives at Sanaa Airport to evacuate UN official
SANAA, March 11 (YPA) – A German plane arrived at Sanaa International Airport on Thursday, coming from the Republic of Germany via Djibouti airport, to transport a United Nations employee for treatment abroad.
The German FAI rent-a-jet, of Challenger 604 type, was provided with all navigation services at the airport in accordance with international standards and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
The plane’s crew confirmed the operational, technical and professional readiness of Sanaa Airport, expressing gratitude for the services and facilities provided by the airport administration and the cadres.
It is noteworthy that the German plane is the first plane belonging to the European Union countries to land at Sanaa International Airport since years.
