STC militia executes citizen in Abyan

ABYAN, March 10 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia on Wednesday executed a citizen in a brutal manner in Abyan province, southern Yemen.

Local sources told Yemen Press Agency that commander of “Dofas” security point of the STC, Mahmoud Al-Keldi, executed Badr Saleh Mohsen Al-Omari after he was kidnapped from a car heading to Shabwa province.

The point’s commander shot Al-Omari, after he tied his hands and feet and covered his eyes, in front of passers-by and travelers, according to the sources.

The sources explained that Al-Keldi left Al-Omari bleeding until he passed away, and prevented citizens from taking him to hospital.

Al-Omari’s execution came against the backdrop of accusation to his brother of killing Al-Keldi’s brother during the past period, according the sources.
