Marib city witnesses state of alert among Al-Qaeda militants

MARIB, March 07 (YPA) – The Yemeni city of Marib, east of the capital Sanaa, on Sunday witnessed a great state of alert among Al-Qaeda militants in the city, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

This came after the Yemeni Security and Intelligence Service in the capital, Sanaa, published accurate details about the names and locations of leaders and members of the Al-Qaeda organization in the city.

The sources pointed out that, since Saturday evening, the organization’s elements evacuated their secret headquarters in Al-Zera’a neighborhood near the government complex in the city of Marib.

The terrorist organization transferred its operatives from Al-Rawda and Al-Zera’a neighborhoods towards ‘Al-Wadi Al-Kabir’ district in the city, the sources added.
