Industry Minister warns traders against raising food prices

SANAA, March 04 (YPA) – Minister of Industry and Trade, Abdel-Wahab Al-Durra, warned traders on Wednesday against taking advantage of the current situation to raise food and goods prices.

The minister said in a news statement that his ministry did not approved any increase in the prices of wheat and flour, and that everyone should commit to selling at the specified price.

Al-Durra said, “We stress that all merchants must abide by not raising prices, and the necessary legal measures will be taken against manipulators.”
