Human Rights Ministry condemns coalition airstrikes on citizens in Hodeida

SANAA, March 02 (YPA) – Ministry of Human Rights strongly condemned on Monday the Saudi-led coalition’s airstrikes that killed five citizens and wounded others in Hodeida province.

The ministry denounced in a statement the silence of the international community and human rights organizations regarding these crimes.

The statement called for the international community to investigate into the crimes of aggression coalition and account the perpetrators.

It explained that the countries of aggression continue to carry out criminal and terrorist acts, and commit massacres against civilians by targeting homes, residential neighborhoods, displaced persons, detaining ships of oil derivatives, and using starvation and comprehensive blockade as a means of war.

On Monday, the coalition fighter jets waged strikes on al-Huka area of Hodeida, killing 5 civilians and injuring others, in a flagrant violation of the UN-sponsored Stockholm Agreement about ceasefire in the province.
