Popular rallies in Jawf condemn US blockade on Yemen

JAWF, Feb. 26 (YPA) – Popular mass rallies were organized on Friday to denounce the economic siege imposed by the US-backed Saudi-led coalition on the Yemeni people.

At the rallies, Jawf governor, Amer Al-Marani, affirmed that the blockade is a war crime against the Yemeni people and a black stain on the international community’s forehead towards the suffering of Yemenis for six years.

The governor called for continued steadfastness and support the fronts until the liberation of Yemen’s land from invaders and occupiers.

The participants chanted slogans and banners denouncing the continued blockade by the coalition on fuel ships.

The rallies held the United Nations and the international community responsible for the crimes and brutal siege against the Yemeni people, in additional to the ongoing detention of oil derivative ships, stressing the continuation of steadfastness in the face of the aggression.
