MARIB, Feb. 25 (YPA) – Dozens of Saudi-led coalition recruits were killed and others were wounded on Thursday in a huge explosion targeted their camp in ‘Sahn al-Jin’ area, north of Marib city.
Local sources reported that the explosion, the causes of which were not known yet, occurred in the joint operations room of the coalition forces in the Sahn al-Jin camp this afternoon.
The explosion occurred during a meeting of senior commanders loyal to the coalition led by “Saghir bin Aziz,” chief of staff of the “Hadi government” forces, the sources explained.
The sources noted that the explosion caused a number of deaths and injuries among the coalition forces, including military leaders, which the coalition forces are keen to not disclose.
