Army takes over strategic areas of Marib

SANAA, Feb. 20 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces have achieved military triumphs in the battles currently taking place in the eastern port of Marib province, sources said on Saturday.

The sources indicated that army forces were able to clear and take control over Al-Nadhud strategic area, which links Marib province with Hadramout, as well as Al-Wadia border crossing with Saudi Arabia, in the northeast of the city.

On Saturday, the army forces launched a major attack on the areas of Al-Nadhud and al-Alam in the province.
