Bodyguard of minister in Hadi’s gov’t killed in Lahj

LAHJ, Feb. 18 (YPA) – A bodyguard of a minister in Hadi’s government loyal to Saudi-led coalition was killed Thursday in Lahj province, local sources reported.

Jihad Ahmed Saeed al-Zaouri, bodyguard of the minister of social affairs and son of his brother, was killed in an armed ambush on Tor Al-Baha road, the sources explained.

The sources stated that gunmen cut off a taxi bus on the Aden-Tor Al-Baha road, and clashes occurred during which Al-Zaouri was injured, but he died of his wounds.
