Fire in fuel black market devours 2 cars in Sanaa

SANAA, Feb. 17 (YPA) – A huge fire broke out Wednesday in one of the irregular fuel pumps in Al-Nasr Street, east of the capital Sanaa, which led to the burning of two cars designated for selling fuel on the black market.

A fire-fighting team rushed to the fire place and managed to control the fire before it expanded in the area, especially as it is located near car showrooms spread along the street.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire did not lead to any human losses, except for the material damage.

This is not the first time that such accidents have occurred due to the accumulation of fuel barrels and tanks, in light of the spread of trade in oil derivatives on the black market, in an irregular manner, without taking into account the necessary safety precautions.

Citizens affirmed that the Saudi-led coalition is the main reason for the suffering of Yemenis and their resort to some unsafe means so that the wheel of life does not stop due to the blockade imposed on oil derivatives and the prevention of ships from reaching the port of Hodeida, amid local and international calls to allow the access of fuel ships to the port.
