Sanaa forces approach city of Marib

MARIB, Feb. 12 (YPA) – Yemeni army, backed by popular committees have taken control over strategic mountains and new areas in Marib province, military sources said on Thursday.

According to the sources, the army forces took control over the mountainous areas of Hillan and Al-Makhdara.

The offensive battle of the army forces has exceeded Altalaa Alhamra point, 10 km from Marib city, the last stronghold of the Muslim Brotherhood and the so-called legitimacy in the northern provinces of Yemen.
