Marib condemns Islah crime of kidnapping women

SANAA, Feb. 1 (YPA) – The local authority in Marib province strongly condemned on Monday the violation and the crime of kidnapping seven displaced women in Marib city by the Saudi-backed Islah Party militants.

The authority said in a statement that the crime reflected the ethical fall of the militias loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, which have stripped all religious values and tribal norms.

The statement indicated this crime would add to a series of extraneous crimes against the Yemeni society, as those militias had previously raided camps for the displaced during the past period.

It called on the free people of Yemen and human rights organizations to take serious action for pressure on the coalition and its tools to release all kidnapped women and stop the crimes committed against citizens and aggressively detained in its prisons.
