SANAA, Jan. 30 (YPA) – A 3.7-magnitude earthquake on Saturday struck the city of Hail, northwest of Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi Geological Survey stated on Twitter that “the national network stations at the National Center for Earthquakes and Volcanoes in the Authority detected an earthquake of 3.7 magnitude and 7 km depth.”
Residents felt another aftershock that struck the area, without any information about injuries or damages.
An earthquake, with a magnitude of 3.19, hit a depth of 2.54 km, south of Shuqaiq governorate, in the Jizan region in January of last year.
