SANAA, Jan. 30 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, described his consultations with Turkish officials as constructive, friendly and fruitful, stressing that our vision was consistent with the Turkish officials ’vision that cooperation is the only way to restore stability to the region.
In his Twitter Page on Friday evening, Zarif referred to the axes of his talks with Turkish leaders, saying: I had constructive, friendly and fruitful talks with President Erdogan and Turkish Foreign Minister Çavuşolu.
He referred to the issues discussed in the meeting with Turkish officials and said: The expansion of bilateral cooperation as well as the discussion of regional cooperation on Syria, Iraq and the Caucasus were among the other topics discussed during these meetings.
On Friday night, the Iranian foreign minister arrived in Istanbul, the fifth and last leg of his regional tour, where he visited Baku, Moscow, Yerevan and Tbilisi before.
