Abdulsalam welcomes Italy’s decision to stop arms exports to Riyadh and Abu Dhabi

SANAA, Jan. 30 (YPA) – The Official spokesman of Ansarullah, Mohammed Abdulsalam welcomed Italy’s decision to halt arms exports to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates which have been waging a devastating war on the impoverished nation for years.

“Italy’s announcement to stop selling weapons to countries that launch aggression against Yemen is a positive step, which contributes to protecting civilians and supporting the peace process,” Ansarullah Spokesman Mohammed Abdul-Salam wrote in a post published on his official Twitter page late Friday.

Earlier on Friday, Italy announced the suspension of arms exports to Both Saudi Arabia and the UAE because of their involvement in the war in Yemen.
