STC militia recruit killed in Shabwa

SHABWA, Jan. 21 (YPA) – A recruit of the so-called “Shabwani elite” affiliated with the Southern Transitional Council (STC) was killed on Thursday by unknown gunmen in Shabwa province, southern Yemen.

Unidentified gunmen assassinated the recruit in front of the fishing market in ‘Jol Al-Rayda’ town in Mayfa’a district, and then fled to an unknown destination, local sources said.

It is noteworthy that the southern provinces are witnessing an escalation of assassinations and liquidations between the armed factions loyal to Saudi-led coalition.
