Cold air wave continued to prevail over Yemeni provinces

SANAA, Jan. 18 (YPA) – A cold air wave would be continued to effect and prevail over mountain heights, inland plateaus and desert areas in most of Yemeni provinces within the next 24 hours.

According to the National Center of Meteorology, the weather will be very cold in the mountainous heights in the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Marib and Jawf, Ibb, Taiz, Dhalea, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa and Hadramout.

The center warned citizens, especially the elderly, children, sick people, and workers during the night and early morning of the cold wave, calling on farmers, livestock herders and beekeepers to take the necessary precautions against cold shocks.
