Emigrants kidnapped in Abyan

ABYAN, Jan. 17 (YPA) – About six expatriates were kidnapped on Sunday by an armed group in Yemen’s southern province of Abyan, according to sources.

The sources affirmed that the group belonging to al-Kazemi tribes detained the expatriates of Radfan and Yafeh’s sons, on the main road in al-Mahfad district.

The sources affirmed they were taken as captives after being transferred to unknown areas under the pretext that the group has personal demands with someone from Radfan sons.

The Saudi-led coalition-held southern provinces have seen the spread of gangs of assassinations and kidnapping and bandits, exploiting insecurity and anarchy in light of the factions based on the patronage of the coalition.
