SANAA, Jan. 17 (YPA) – The American newspaper “New York Times” reported that President-elect Joe Biden will lift the travel ban with many Muslim countries, and rejoin the Paris climate agreement on the first day of his term.
The newspaper quoted the chief of staff of the White House administration, Ron Klein, as saying that the president-elect intends to issue a series of executive orders that will be substantial and symbolic, including canceling the ban on flights with many Muslim-majority countries, and joining the Paris climate agreement.
“Biden intends to extend the epidemiological restrictions on” evictions “and the payment of student loans, and to ask agencies to know how to reunite separated children from their families at the border,” Klein added.
