NCM warns of frost wave in 6 provinces

SANAA, Jan. 14 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) on Thursday expected very cold weather and the possibility of frost formation in the mountainous heights in Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, and Dhalea provinces during the coming hours.

In its weather bulletin, The center stated that the weather would be cold in the high-altitude areas of the provinces of Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout and the desert areas, during the night and early morning hours.

The center warned citizens, especially the elderly, children, sick people, and workers during the night and early morning hours, as well as travelers to those provinces, against the decrease in the low temperatures and severe cold shocks.
