Residents of Shabwa protest against rising rents

SHABWA, Jan. 10 (YPA) – Residents of Shabwa province organized on Saturday a protest rally, calling for an end to the rise in rents, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

Dozens of citizens organized a protest against the high prices of real estate and apartments in the city of Ataq.

The protesters raised banners denouncing the huge increase in apartment rents in the current circumstances the country is going through.

It is noteworthy that the high rental rates have burdened citizens in various Yemeni governorates.
