6 magnitude earthquake hits Salta region in Argentina

SANAA, Jun. 10 (YPA) – The German Geosciences Research Center said, on Sunday morning, that a six magnitude earthquake hit the Salta region in Argentina.
The center added that the earthquake was at a depth of 222 km, according to Reuters.
The US Geological Survey announced in December that an earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale hit the border region between Chile and Argentina.
