Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi speaks on occasion of Martyr’s Day

SANAA, Jan. 3 (YPA) – The Leader of the Yemeni Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badreddin Al-Houthi, affirmed the “continuation of the martyrs’ path in which they offered the greatest lessons that strengthen the state of cooperation and brotherhood among the people of the nation to deter and drive out the Israeli enemy and US military bases from the region.”

In a televised speech aired by Al-Masirah TV channel this evening, on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, Sayyed al-Houthi said that that the “responsibility today is great for sacrifices, and the fulfillment of these sacrifices is a great responsibility for all of us.”

“We are concerned to confront the attack on us and our nation, and to confront the aggression that we consider as being a part of the American-Zionist attack on our nation,” he added, pointing out that “our nation deserves freedom and independence, and this will not be achieved as long as the existence of the American-Israeli hegemony continues.”

Martyrs’ Sacrifices Make Victories

“We are confident in God and in that sacrifices make great victories. The more we provide the convoys of martyrs in our firm position, the more God will achieve victory for our nation,” he said, calling on the Yemeni people to continue supporting the fronts with money and men and taking care of the internal front.

He also called for resolving all internal problems with responsibility.

The Sayyed said that “Martyrs’ Day is a stage to renew our resolve and remember martyrs’ sacrifices in order to take useful lessons.”

In his speech, the Revolutionary Leader emphasised the responsibility of society and the state towards the families of the martyrs.

“The circumstances of our nation and people see the urgent need to commemorate the martyrs in order to highlight the level and extent of oppression, steadfastness and willpower to free ourselves from the control of tyrants,” he added.

“In order to break free from the control of the tyrants, we must be fully prepared to sacrifice, because they will move to hurt us.”

The Enemies’ Aim Is to Control the Nation

Sayyed al-Houthi explained that the aim of the enemies’ conspiracies is to control the Ummah and exploit its human life, its material capabilities and its geographical location, and stressed the importance of the Islamic nations in countering those plots.

He pointed out that the enemies seek to “dissolve the nation’s unity, completely dismantle it, control it, adapt it and exploit it.”

“We need to consolidate the concept of martyrdom for the sake of Allah, in order to confront the tyrants of the age: the United States of America, Israel and their agents,” he said.

The Leader said that “the great martyrs Hajj Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis were killed by America because they were leaders of the free people of the nation.”

“We are at an important stage and we have found that the concept of martyrdom for the sake of God has yielded victory,” he said.

Examples of Success of Jihad and Martyrdom

Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi confirmed that the liberation of the Gaza Strip in Palestine and the Hezbollah victories in Lebanon are examples of the success of Jihad and martyrdom.

He noted that the Islamic Revolution in Iran was also an experiment that showed the fruit of sacrifice, with the result being the liberation of Iran from American hegemony and the rule of the Shah.

“Syria, Iraq and Bahrain also provided models for the fruits of steadfastness and willingness to sacrifice and martyrdom,” he said, adding that “the enemy at this stage is not content to move from outside, but seeks to penetrate the nation in its internal reality through the movement of hypocrisy.”

Hypocrisy and Normalization Movement Within the Nation

The movement of hypocrisy in the nation is represented in the Saudi and Emirati regimes, Sudan’s military, Khalifa regime in Bahrain, and more recently the Moroccan regime, Sayyed Abdul-Malik said.

He explained that the screening situation helps in the level of awareness and correct understanding of the nature of what is happening in the region, and this is a very big positive. Emphasizing that, there is no legitimacy for the Israeli enemy in Palestine, as Israel is confiscating the rights of the Palestinians and unlawfully shedding their blood.

Regarding the public attitudes of normalization,Sayyed Abdul-Malik said that , this reveals the assistance of some regimes to Israel (the proxy of America) to lead the region, pointing out that America does not find in Saudi Arabia a suitable agent for it in the region, but rather sees it and some agents as a “cash cows” and “shoes-likes.”

He added ,that America and Israel are leading the ongoing battle. And they include some entities of this nation to them. In the context of confronting normalization, some tried to shirk responsibility and raise suspicions by shifting the compass of hostility within the Islamic Ummah.

Emphasizing that, normalization will only strengthen the enemy’s authority over the normalized countries, as for the resistance peoples, they have the impediment to refuse being controlled, and the normalized countries are promoting the Israeli enemy and declaring their loyalty to it, so they will try their best to exert political pressure on other countries to accept normalization with Israel.

“The program of the normalized countries is to work in the interest of the Israeli enemy, not to achieve their interests, and thus they will lose.”

“And all attempts to divert the compass of hostility to the Islamic interior, such as Iran and the countries of the axis of resistance, are to divert the nation from confronting its real enemies,” Sayyed Abdul-Malik said, adding that the Americans and the Zionists were the first to speak about the Iranian threat , and this speak was constantly repeated by the Saudi and Emirati before.

He further emphasized that, the Americans and the Zionists were the ones who ignited the flames of sectarian strife among the nation, to move the takfiris within it, and that Saudi Arabia and those with are fighting against Yemen and the free people of the nation on behalf of America and Israel under their supervision and cooperation.

The Battle of The Nation Is Indivisible

The Sayyed said that “the existing battle against the Islamic Ummah is led by the United States of America and Israel, and some entities of this nation,” in reference to the Saudi and Emirati regimes and others who chose to normalise relations with the Zionist entity.

He pointed out that the nation today is concerned with strengthening efforts and consolidating the level of cooperation, as it is a single Muslim nation regardless of the number of countries that are part of it.

“The multiplicity of countries does not mean dividing the battle, because the targeting includes everyone,” he explained, indicating that the agents of America and Israel seek to besiege every people individually

The Palestinian Cause Will Remain the Basis for Us

Regarding the Palestinian issue, the Leader of the Revolution reiterated the assertion that “the Palestinian issue will remain the basis for us, regardless of the neglect of it by the others who have exposed themselves.”

He explained that the plots are now exposed in favor of the enemy entity against the Palestinian people, where they contribute to the siege of the Palestinians and boycott them in everything by providing bridges of cooperation to the Israeli enemy.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badreddin Al-Houthi referred to the fact that Saudi Arabia arrests and tortures activists affiliated with the Palestinian movement Hamas, simply because they support the resistance against the Israeli enemy.

“As an Islamic nation, we must strengthen the state of cooperation and fraternity just like God has commanded us, and this strengthens the strength and position of the nation,” he said.

He noted that “the Axis of Resistance must reinforce the tendency to be one nation in one trench. Those who have aligned themselves with Israel under the American flag are the deviants, those who are away from the right path.”
