Bolton accuses Trump of seeking to tear apart Republican Party

SANAA, Jan. 2 (YPA) – Former US national security adviser John Bolton on Saturday accused outgoing US President Donald Trump of seeking to tear the Republican Party apart.

The move came following the party’s vote to revoke the president’s veto of the defense budget.

” Apparently,  Donald Trump’s last goal is to tear apart his party. He’s lighting the torch to his own political funeral pyre by attacking Republicans who dare not kiss his ring, Bolton tweeted.

Senate Republicans on Friday revoked Trump’s veto for the first time in his term, passing a defense spending bill despite strong objections 20 days before he left office.
